Quirky Kitchens

Here are my kitchen cabinents... they are bright ... but I love them. To bad I'm moving into a "no paint" rental. Domino mag has a great gallery section of quirky kitchens, here are a few favorites. I really feel like the kitchen is a good place to play with design. For me I want it to be happy and pretty so the time I spend cooking is also happy and fun.

can you do this in a rental?

I'm sure our landlord wouldn't mind if I took the creative liberty of doing this to our fridge would she? I also love this fridge from domino. Does anyone know if covering a fridge in wallpaper would come off?

I just love un-expected happy design.
