holiday ambiance...
In an effort to feel excited for the holidays (even though I wont be able to visit my family on the mainland) I have started to collect holiday ideas. Here is one I found at design sponge, that would be simple and give off some good "holiday ambiance". Anyone have any other ideas for me?

DIY idea...
I am totally going to do this DIY project. We are about to move and we need knobs for our cabinets, this is the perfect solution! Now I just need to start finding the supplies. (oh the joys of living in Hawaii, no Jo-Ann's close by)

Anthropoliogie is full of good ideas and this cute little short about gift wrapping is great. I am getting together some DIY holiday gift wrap ideas so stay tuned in the next weeks, it's never to early to get started!

delicious ...
I saw this idea for red velvet cake balls and instantly thought it would be a great idea for a shower or party of almost any kind. So many ways to customize it... flavors, colors, put it on a stick!

what a way to wake up...
that's right, I woke up to this lovely little thing, a lemon coconut snowball! My sister and her roommates got dressed up in their best circle skirts and baked these lovelies. then gave one to me!
The recipe can be found in the book Cupcakes! by Elinor Klivans, a cookbook that I received for Christmas last year (thanks steph). I would highly recommend it, every recipe has been seriously delicious.

baby shower...
Here are pictures of a shower that I helped out with. Decorating is such fun. We made tissue paper pom pom's which are sooo happy. (and they are easy!) find directions here at... where else, Martha Stewart!
